Telling people's stories is what makes my world turn. Writing is ravishing in its own way, but when it is used to be a force for accountability and good, it is a truly Herculean tool.

I believe in approaching journalism from a place of grace and creativity. I believe in producing excellent work that meets the most rigorous ethical standards. Mostly, I believe that the most fulfilling way to live is to spend time pursuing inspiration and positive impacts. I believe that writing is the way I can fulfill my purpose and honor the life I have been given by lifting others up.
